Karn has been with Chicago Title since February 2002 focusing on Commercial
and Residential Construction. She attended Western Michigan University
and Davenport College with an emphasis in Business Administration. She
began her career as a branch manager of an architectural firm for 13 years
and then moved to a title company with responsibilities in commercial and
residential construction and general/escrow accounting for 9 years. Karn's
overall experience has encompassed all facets of the construction process
and she has been in the title-related industry for over 26 years.

Tess has been with Chicago Title Insurance Company since July 21, 2003.
She is currently a National Account Executive/Coordinator. Previously, she
was an Underwriter-Claims Administrator for the Residential Direct Operations
of Chicago Title Insurance Company of Kansas City, Missouri and prior to that
Chicago Title of Michigan. In addition, she has had the opportunity to speak
at the Missouri Land Title Association regarding probate in March 2005. She
received her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in May 2004 and B.S.
Degree in Business Administration from Columbia College, Columbia, Missouri
in July 1997. She has worked in the real estate industry since 1995, including
finance, title/escrow, and the legal field. Tess is also involved with a variety of
organizations including CREW (Commercial Real Estate for Women), MACB
(Michigan Association of Community Bankers), and the Lansing Area Chamber
of Commerce. She also actively involved in her local church.

closely with Chicago Title's National Business Accounts. Her primary role is
coordinating transactions that involve customers that are based throughout

Ron has been with Chicago Title of Michigan since July of 2003. Currently he
is working as a commercial specialist and senior underwriter. He began his
career in the title industry in 1998 working for another title company in Michigan
as a residential and commercial examiner. He later worked at Huntington
Title Services from 2000 to 2003 as both an examiner and manager for statewide
operations. He joined Chicago Title into the newly formed Commercial
and Construction Division based in Portage, Michigan. He presently serves on
the Senior Underwriting Committee and handles underwriting for statewide
commercial transactions. He graduated with his B.A. from Hope College in
1992 and received his J.D. from Valparaiso University in 1997.

Kristin has been with Chicago Title since 1998. She is involved with several
industry affiliations and is a member on many committees such as; GKAR
(Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors) Commercial Committee, Education
Committee and Technology Committee, Kalamazoo Chamber of Commerce
and Kalamazoo Home Builders Association. She is involved with both
Commercial and Residential sales. She earned her B.A. from Western Michigan
University in 1994 majoring in Psychology and Interpersonal Communications.
Kristin has had both title and sales training including Land Title Institute
Courses and Fidelity National Financial escrow training.

Marty began his title industry related career in 1972 as a tax examiner with
Burton Abstract & Title Company in Grand Rapids, MI. He was promoted
through the ranks holding positions of Jr. Abstractor, Abstractor, Jr. Examiner,
Examiner, Assistant County Manager and in 1980 the Kent County Manager
for the then named St. Paul Title Insurance Company. In 1982 he
joined the Title Office, Inc., as a production manager of its Ottawa County
Office, and later that same year was promoted to Manager of a startup operation
in Kent County. Since that time he has held the positions of Sr. Title
Examiner, Marketing Sales Representative, and Title Officer for the Kent
County Title Office. In 1998 he was promoted to Sr. Title Officer. Presently
he is in the corporate underwriting department and is a Commercial Title Examiner
for Chicago Title of Michigan's Commercial Division.

Jerry has been with Chicago Title since 1992. He has been in the title industry
for 15 years. He started as a title examiner and has been promoted throughout
the company. He joined the commercial team in 2006. Prior to the title
industry he managed a collection department for an attorney for 6 years. This
experience enabled him to become familiar with searching assets and various
public record offices. He attended University of Michigan and earned his
B.B.A. in Business Administration. Jerry is involved in the community and sits
on the Board of Review for the City of Owosso. He is past President of Shiawassee
County Historical Society and is involved in Shiawassee County Genealogical
Society.

Tom received his B.S. from Western Michigan University. He began his career
with Title Bond and Mortgage Company as a mapmaker for over 14 years. He
has been with Chicago Title since 1995 and held several positions within the
company on both the residential and commercial side. Tom is now involved
with the day to day duties in the Commercial Division including: searching,
examining and underwriting of commercial title files. He performs survey
reviews, handles endorsement requests and works with customers to prepare
files for closing.

Jean has been with Chicago Title since October of 2004, and is currently
working as a commercial title examiner. Previously she was employed at Title
Bond and Mortgage Company (which became First American Title Insurance
Company). She has been working in the Kalamazoo market for 33 years focusing
mainly on property in Kalamazoo County. Since coming to Chicago
Title of Michigan, she has had the opportunity to examine titles for properties
in many Michigan counties and appreciates the challenge that provides. She
has experience in all facets of title industry, but enjoys working in the commercial
arena most of all.
